|
| Special effects can create incredible moments, beautiful photographs, and help to punctuate an event with something that raises it from ordinary to spectacular. Your clients want them, the venues ban them, and there you are – caught in the middle again – unable to come to terms between the two. The problem is that these effects carry risks and venues have seen the bad and the ugly. In this session Ed Spencer will take you through a variety of special effects, and techniques you can use to mitigate the risks involved to protect yourself, your company and most importantly, your clients and their guests. We’ll cover some new ground in how to approach venues with ideas for effects and how to work with them to get bans lifted on certain types of effects on a case by case basis.
If you use effects, are interested in using effects, or generally taking your effects to the next level, this is the seminar you do NOT want to miss. A guide to doing them and doing them safely. A number of different effect types, and how they can be used to generate spectacular results – but the things you have to watch out for when using them. Smoke alarms for fog/haze.
